Property Development in Fort Bonifacio

The location of Fort Bonifacio is perhaps the single most important aspect that may assure it of its pre-eminent position in the real estate market until the next decade.  Located between the two business districts of Ortigas and Makati, this former military base may just be the perfect location when an alternative to one or the other is required.

Its size, nearly 26 square kilometers, have allowed the urban planners the freedom to draw a sprawling development concept where open spaces are laid out between impressive vertical structures.  As such, the buildings are impressive, and the open spaces, refreshing.

Fort Bonifacio is also just several kilometers away from the new Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which will certainly be convenient most especially to the expatriate community residing in its plush condominiums.  Frequent travelers will not have to rush to get to the airport as it is really just half an hour away.

Fort Bonifacio’s development is spearheaded by the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) through the flagship Bonifacio Global City.  Originally home to just two office buildings, Bonifacio Global City now houses several posh residential condominiums.  Pacific Plaza Towers, a two-tower building built under the auspices of the Metro Pacific Corporation, is classified as a luxurious residential condo development, with units costing upwards of Php22.5 million.  One McKinley Place, a 43-storey glass and steel structure developed by Philtown Inc., is composed of studio and partitioned rooms intended to cater to the so-called “upwardly mobile professionals” and young families.  Essensa, a twin 116-unit luxury condominium apartment towers project of the Century Properties, Inc. - Meridien Development Group, has a business center, a fitness center, helipad, an indoor heated lap pool, and four levels of underground car park, private dining facilities and a poolside gazebo.  Bonifacio Ridge, an eighteen-storey project of the FBDC itself, consists of two towers with a shared podium and has a sizeable swimming pool, a kiddie pool, a playground, a multipurpose hall and even a tree-lined jogging area. Sixty percent (60%) of the 7,643 square meter lot on which Bonifacio Ridge stands is occupied by a landscaped common area.  Other completed projects are the Regent Parkway, 38-storey residential tower developed by Daiichi Properties & Development and designed by Helmuth, Obata & Kassabaumthe, together with local architects, W.V. Coscolluela & Associates, with interior design by internationally acclaimed Hirsch Bedner, and the Penhurst Parkplace Condominium of the FBDC and G&W Architects.  Also forthcoming are the following residential developments, to wit: Serendra of Ayala Land, Forbestown by Megaworld Corporation, Philtown Inc.’s Fairways Tower, Fifth Avenue Place from Robinsons Land Corporation and Kensington Place and Hamptons Place of the G&W Architects.

All these development projects further reinforce Fort Bonifacio’s premiere position in the real estate market.  And with such sprawling landscapes, the view will certainly be something to behold.  Imagine waking up to the Makati skyline as it gets lighted by the warm golden sunrise.  Or maybe the dramatic sunset, with its orange and reddish glow, will be more anticipated as it signals the end of the working day.

Be part of this growing community.  Be part of Bonifacio Global City!
